HELP TO BUY (SCOTLAND)
Help to Buy (Scotland) offers financial support to buyers through a shared equity scheme funded by the Scottish Government. Eligible buyers are provided with up to 20% of the purchase price of their new home providing specific requirements are met.
The property must be a new build home built by a participating homebuilding company with at least 80% of the purchase price being covered by the prospective buyers. There are also strict rules regarding the value of the property and the scale of any mortgage being taken to facilitate the purchase.
