Gwen obtained a Legal Secretarial qualification from college in 1981. She began work as a court runner and then a worked in various firms as a legal secretary. She has extensive and varied experience in different aspects of the law.
After having her son 29 years ago she she worked for 13 years as a part-time legal secretary and fitness instructor until her love of Scots Law drew her back into the legal fold. She has a particular interest in residential conveyancing and found that her experience lent itself to studying to become a specialised paralegal.
She has an open and friendly nature making clients of all ages feel confident that she is dealing with their transaction in the best way possible. She also has mutual respect with various other members of the legal profession. Her passion has become assisting couples or families purchase their first home often through the LIFT shared equity scheme and also enjoys the daily challenges of residential conveyancing.
Gwen’s interests include reading and relaxing in the garden. She has a love of animals, nature and wildlife. She also enjoys travelling abroad or to the Highlands of Scotland whenever possible.
