James is an experienced private client solicitor who has practised for over 20 years in three different jurisdictions: Scotland, England & Wales and Illinois.
James is the author of numerous legal articles and a regular speaker at conferences. James is a former member of the Law Society of Scotland’s tax committee and was for 6 years a member of the Scottish Social Service Council’s registration and conduct committee.
James has a particular interest in what happens to our digital lives and assets on death or if we lose capacity.
James is also a co-founder of the Private Client Scotland Forum.
