Whilst many of our clients recognise the need to take advice about a financial plan for life, not many understand the need to take the same approach to their legal affairs.

In recent years there have been major changes in family structures and how people think and feel about families. Families now come in all shapes and sizes and more non married couples are setting up home together.

Even for those clients who are single, or in a happy marital relationship, the law can be complex.  Added to which there is often change in legislation which could impact on provisions which have already been put in place.

Stuart & Stuart recognise the need to deliver robust legal solutions which can be regularly reviewed on request.

Our Legal Health Check service offers an initial consultation, free of charge, which allows us to determine what plans you currently have in place, what gaps you may have and what you should do to fully protect yourself.

The initial review will cover, where appropriate:

• Wills
• Powers of Attorney
• Minutes of Agreement
• Inheritance Tax Planning

We strongly believe that our clients should have all necessary protection in place, and that is why our Legal Health Check gives clients the opportunity to review their existing position and make any necessary adjustments.

Because we understand that affordability can often stand in the way of progressing matters in a timely fashion, we now offer this service with a small initial up front fee followed by a monthly payment plan to cover the full cost of any necessary work.
